  • E250-POTENCE, jib arm with hook for the E250 semi-electric work positioner

    The E250-POTENCE jib arm with lifting hook allows the E250 semi-electric work positioner to lift and present a suspended load fitted with a compatible lifting point. It provides an interface for components that cannot be placed directly on a platform.

    This configuration can be used in a maintenance workshop, assembly area or production station to bring a component closer, raise it to the required level or position it above its destination.

    Suspend a component for controlled positioning

    The jib arm extends the hook in front of the positioner mast. It allows a load to be presented above a workbench, container or assembly location, provided the stability requirements of the complete setup are observed.

    The E250 provides vertical movement. The jib arm and hook form the interface between the positioner and the load attachment point.

    Six positions along a 500 mm jib arm

    The stated jib arm length is 500 mm, with six positions at 50 mm intervals. The accessory weighs 3.7 kg.

    The selected position affects reach, overall dimensions and the load centre of gravity. It must therefore be chosen before lifting according to the component and the area to be reached.

    Examples of workshop use

  • presenting a component fitted with a lifting point ;
  • bringing a component close to an assembly station ;
  • lowering a load into a container ;
  • holding a component temporarily during an operation ;
  • carrying out a short transfer between two work areas.

    Secure the attachment before lifting

    The load must have a suitable lifting point. Any intermediate attachment accessories must be compatible with the component weight and shape.

    Before each operation, check the hook, jib arm, selected position and load stability. Move slowly, keep all personnel clear of the suspended load and maintain an unobstructed path.

    Common questions about the E250-POTENCE

    How many positions does the jib arm provide?
    The jib arm provides six positions at 50 mm intervals.

    Does the jib arm increase the positioner capacity?
    No. It changes the load interface. The load must remain within the E250 limits while accounting for reach and centre of gravity.

    Can any attachment point be used?
    No. The lifting point and any connecting accessories must be suitable for the load.

    Is the jib arm intended for long-distance load transport?
    It is mainly intended for positioning operations and short transfers around a workstation.
